The classic, Prairie-Style detailing of this house plan will capture plenty of attention from passersby. A covered porch and deep-set front door leads to the home's entry area and formal living room with fireplace and beamed ceiling. Farther inside, a private, covered, side patio expands living areas to the outdoors. To the rear of the home, a family room and dining room flank yet another covered patio, likewise framed by sturdy columns. The island kitchen is open to the dining area and includes a practical walk-in pantry. Just off the kitchen, a sensible mud room leads to the design's intriguing garage areas. A side-load, two-car garage lies perpendicular to a tandem garage which also features space for two cars, recreational vehicles, or even a workshop.
